E-MERGE WITH THE HUMAN SPIRIT!

HUMAN SPIRIT MERGER OPENS TO VISUAL ARTISTS AND/OR SCIENTISTS AFTER SEPTEMBER 1, 2020

Not only does the word "merge" better fit the idea of joining Sciences and Arts, it allows for the addition of 'E-' and E-Merger where the 'e' stands for "electronic". Sound it out and you get the word "emerge."

Sciences and Arts and Businesses and Religions are all e-Merging into the Human Spirit Connection and are controlled by people.

Human Spirit Merger is three tiered.

Tier 1 is called Level 4 Gallery. It is the starting point for all entrants. All submissions are received here.

Tier 2 is called E-Galaxy Gallery. Judges screen the work in Level 4 and, based on their life’s experience, put items into the E-Galaxy Gallery. One might call E-Galaxy Gallery a ‘holding tank’.

Tier 3 is called E-Universe Gallery. Judges move works from the E-Galaxy Gallery into the E-Universe Gallery.

E-Universe Gallery is accessible to the world via the internet.

Imagine an hour glass where the grains(entries) flow up through a place(judging/E-Galaxy Gallery) into a broader space (internet access/
E-Universe Gallery).

The emphasis of Human Spirit Merger is on contributing and helping rather than winning a prize. In other words, the Human Spirit Merger is not saying "Here’s your blue ribbon or honorable mention, congratulations," but saying, "Congratulations; your work is good and was considered by some fine minds. Now help other scientists and artists to join together into a medium that incorporates both the genres of Art and Science".

This Human Spirit Merger is my creation.

I got a thank you letter from the Queen of England and another from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC for my work which they put in their permanent collections. I asked myself, “Where do I go from up?” The answer was immediate: reach down and help others. The idea percolated for years until now.

I designed this Merger to get scientists and artists together worldwide with the internet. By working together, beginning scientists and artists may create a long needed third medium called “Scart” - a combination of ‘art’ with ‘science’.

In my yard is a weird apple tree. Its trunk is dead. However several thick, healthy branches grow out of the base of the trunk and turn high towards the sun. The branches are healthy and growing. They will, with time, grow together. The merger may even start something.

Likewise, science and art have grown as far apart as they can. Now they must merge to keep growing. Who knows what will happen?

Much emphasis is placed upon judges and entrants communicating. And then there is the internet access…

Human Spirit Merger has the following three tiers

Tier 1 is called Level 4 Gallery. It is the starting point for all entrants. All submissions are received here.

Tier 2 is called E-Galaxy Gallery. Judges screen the work in Level 4 and, based on their life’s experience, put items into the E-Galaxy Gallery. One might call E-Galaxy Gallery a ‘holding tank’.

Tier 3 is called E-Universe Gallery. Judges move works from the E-Galaxy Gallery into the E-Universe Gallery. E-Universe Gallery is accessible to the world via the internet.

The first Human Spirit Merger begins accepting entries 12:00am, September 1, 2020 and stops 11:59pm, September 30, 2020. Next is the judging. Last comes notifications.

Only visual entries are acceptable into these early E-Mergings. We are only getting our feet wet. Audio and video entries may be accepted in the future. As will always be the case, all entries must be computer friendly; meaning entries must be viewable on common computer devices.

There are no prizes or awards in Human Spirit Merger and the judges work ‘pro bono’. The honour of placing in a Human Spirit Merger is the reward.

For more information, or to submit something, send your work and/or questions to contests@timespacecontinuum.com. We will be glad to hear from you.
